Nature & mankind

You know, the wrath of nature is awesome, devastating, but sobering! We always seem to recover from natural disasters and learn many things from them. Recent events have shocked the world and brought much heartache and human suffering; earthquakes, tsunami’s, typhoons and hurricanes. They all leave a trail of devastation in their wake! Yet we recover, we rebuild and life goes on. However we will always remember those who were not as fortunate as us, the friends and families, the loved ones who will never be seen again, they will remain forever in our hearts.
Yes the wrath of nature is awesome! But the stupidity of man is something else to behold. We wage war on our fellow human beings, we scorn people who believe in other deities, or who have a different culture etc. Why is it mankind is always interfering in someone else’s business? Why can’t the human race live in harmony with one another? Will we not be satisfied until we have totally destroyed our world? Why do we have to have barriers, frontiers, borders and restrictions put upon us? Can’t we learn to live in peace and harmony ... together?
The next time you walk down the road, or take a bus ride and meet a stranger, look at them and smile, greet them and show them respect for being a person! We are all children of the universe and we should learn to respect it and one another! It’s time to put an end to war and conflicts ... before it’s too late and we totally destroy our world!
