A walk along the shore

I took a walk along the sea shore and enjoyed the wonders of nature. It was so peaceful, it made me feel glad to be alive. I saw birds I haven't seen in a long time, the sea breeze wafting over my face, the smell of salt air and sand. It was such a joy to be there! I had time to stop and stare and appreciate the wonders of this world. I found a quiet place to stop where I could sit and look out to sea, ships and boats and planes, all passing by unnoticed by most only seen by some. Where were they going? Only those aboard would know; back out to sea? Or to arrive to the welcoming arms of loved ones! Who knows? But I wish them well and a safe voyage where ever they're bound. The sea beckons to all who pass by, but only a few will answer the call; and they know not why! To those who answer the call will lead a life of intrigue, adventure, solace, sometimes loneliness. But it will be a life of fulfilment, wonder and satisfaction! They say a sailors lot is not a happy one, I know better. The sea has been my mistress my whole life and I miss her! For now I will enjoy her wonders from the shore until I once more can return to the life I loved so dear!

A breath taking view!

The beauty of the sea.

Lazy days in the sun!

A quiet spot for some fishing?

Oh! A Robin!

Just to sit and wonder

Driftwood on the shore

A magnificent creature!

Can you see him?

Now where is this?

A peek through the trees!

Lucky those that dwell here!
