The Beauty of a
Sunrise!
I
woke quite early this morning... well earlier than usual 7:00 am in fact. So I
dragged myself out of bed and made some coffee and sat down by my computer. The
first light of dawn came from the East; it was so quiet and peaceful.
I decided to call my wife, Gloria;
she is in the Philippines on vacation from her ship! Well we chatted away it
was so good to hear her voice and listen to all her news. I moved to the window
to get a better signal. As I looked out across the bay the sun began to spread
its rays across the water and light up the day.
I stood there in wonder, such beauty
unfolding before my eyes and the voice of my wife tinkling in my ear. I was
filled with such happiness and joy. The voice and the rising sun seemed somehow
to bond us so close together. I was deeply moved and such a warm feeling welled
up inside of me. It was like God was sending me a message, telling me
everything would be fine with life; for here I was swathed in His Glory. I felt
elated!
I just want to share this moment
