Set out early to get the tide, a nice bright sunny day, so the walk down to the beach was most enjoyable.
I arrived about 0730 and got set up and settled down.

High tide about 0830 and just on the turn we got the first action of the day.. a nice sized Dab;
that'll do nicely for breakfast!
Well I wasn't really watching the rod when the next bit of excitement came... Oh yes the rod went crazy! I struck and oh boy! This was gonna be a fight! What was on there?? Then it jumped! Yeaahhh a Sea Trout! It put up quite a fight but eventually it was landed. I guess about 2lb! That's gonna make a good couple of meals.

Decide to call it a day... then another strike; mackerel this time.
Even 'Glopuss' was impressed!

Well! All in all a really good days fishing!
